Job summary

The Wyndmoor Group in Portage, IN is seeking a compassionate Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist with ADLs and provide emotional support to seniors.

Build trust with residents and families, educate on health maintenance, and collaborate with nurses and care teams. Insulin certification preferred; long-term care experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) by the state.
• Preference for Insulin Certified
• Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and making quick decisions.
• Can foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• A passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long‑term or assisted living facility is a plus, but not required.
