Job summary

The Wyndmoor Group in Merrillville, IN is seeking a compassionate QMA to administer medications, monitor vitals, assist with ADLs, and support seniors.

You will educate residents and families, observe changes, and report to the supervising nurse. A state QMA certification is required and a clean registry; teamwork and fast decision-making are essential.

Experience in long-term or assisted living is a plus but not required; a passion for elderly care and building trust with families is valued.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) by the state.
• Must have no finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions.
• Can foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• A passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required.
