Job summary

Charlestown Place at New Albany is hiring a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) in our Skilled Nursing community in New Albany, IN. In this full-time, in-person role, you will provide direct resident care and assist with medication administration on a 12-hour shift schedule.

We offer competitive pay ($20.00–$22.50/hour) with credit for experience, plus benefits and ongoing training. CNA duties are required, and active Indiana QMA certification is preferred or obtainable on hire.

Qualifications

• Active QMA certification in Indiana or willingness to obtain upon hire if certified in another state.
• Willingness to perform CNA duties as part of role.
• Experience preferred in skilled nursing care environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily direct care to residents in our skilled nursing facility.
• Document medication administration and observe for changes in condition.
• Assist with CNA duties and collaborate with nursing staff.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Keep medication cart organized and support the healthcare team.

What You'll Do

What You'll Need

• Willingness and ability to perform CNA duties (required for this position)
• Active QMA certification in Indiana, or willingness to obtain by hire if certified in Kentucky
• 1 year of related experience preferred
• At least 18 years old
