Otterbein SeniorLife in Indiana is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to join our compassionate team. You will administer medications as ordered, observe residents, and document changes while providing care in line with person-centered goals.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Active QMA certification.
• Must have completed a state-approved medication administration training program.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with preparing and administering medications ordered by the physician.
• Observe residents functioning, maintain written records of observations, and report any changes.
• Provide personal care services of residents and assistance in all activities of daily living as needed.
• Answer medical alert calls in a prompt and polite manner.
• Attend initial training, in-service training sessions, and staff conferences upon request.
