Villas of Holly Brook is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide in Brazil, IN for full-time day and night shifts. The role administers medications, monitors residents, and supports care plans under RN supervision.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety and infection control, documenting changes, and assisting with care plans. The position offers benefits and opportunities for professional development in a growing memory care and assisted living network.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA certification, if applicable.
• Must complete all company training programs.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions, memos.
• Able to work various schedules and shifts; weekends required.

Responsabilidades

• Administers medications to residents under supervision of licensed or registered nurse in accordance with standards of practice.
• Observes and monitors residents; regularly records vitals and reports changes to nursing staff.
• Maintains employee and resident safety; follows infection control practices and safety drills.
• Assist with planning, implementation and evaluation of care plans for assigned residents; report to Nurse.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Administers medication to residents under supervision of licensed or registered nurse in accordance with standards of practice. This includes, but is not limited to: administering medication(s); recordation of name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records; administers scheduled medications according to established facility/pharmacy medication administration policies.and procedures. Observes ingestion or other application. Documents reasons why prescribed drugs are not administered and timely notifies proper nursing personnel.
• Observes and monitors residents This includes but is not limited to: regularly taking vitals and/or observing residents for responses to education(s), documenting resident’s reactions, timely notifying proper personnel of reactions. Timely reports physical and/or emotional changes in status of residents(s) to proper nursing personal.
• Maintains employee and resident safety. This includes but is not limited to: following infection control practices; maintaining a clean and safe environment; timely reporting safety issues, injuries, incidents, to proper personnel; participating in fire and disaster drills; and carrying out assigned duties to assure residents and employee safety in the event of an emergency.
• Assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of plans of care for assigned residents and reports information and suggested approaches to Nurse.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Certified Nursing Assistant, if applicable
• Must successfully complete all Company specified training programs.
• Able to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos
• Able to work various schedules and shifts as needed.
• Weekends required
