QIDP Writing Specialist — Developmental Disabilities

Avento Health is recruiting a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) — Writing Specialist for a community-based residential program serving adults with developmental disabilities in Illinois. This position focuses heavily on service-plan documentation, written reporting, quality review, and coordination of supports that promote independence, dignity, and individual choice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Employees operating an agency vehicle must be over 25.
  • Ability to obtain or maintain required competencies or certifications, including first aid, CPR, and medication administration, within prescribed timeframes.
Work Environment & Schedule

Work is performed in a confidential, community-based residential environment. Scheduled hours are assigned based on program needs and may include response to emergency situations. The role may involve contact with individuals displaying challenging, aggressive, or potentially unsafe behaviors. Extended sitting and occasional lifting or moving of objects or people may be required.
