Responsibilities

1. Ensure consumer and guardian participation in the development of service plans and personal futures plans.
2. Coordinate the development of personal futures plans and schedule team meetings, informing all members of times, dates, and locations.
3. Schedule and chair screenings for program vacancies and develop waiting lists for potential consumer placements.
4. Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements, and implement corrective plans when necessary.
5. Review incident reports, address patterns, share reports with appropriate agencies, and investigate incidents of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment promptly.
6. Supervise the delivery of service plans, train staff, document progress, and initiate discharge planning if appropriate.
7. Maintain fiscal responsibility within budget limits for expenses such as household costs, repairs, vehicle expenses, personnel costs, and consulting services.
8. Monitor workers’ compensation and unemployment claims, aiming to reduce claims and minimize agency risk.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Social Services; or a high school diploma/GED with three years of related experience, with written approval for exceptions.
2. Minimum of two years’ experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
3. Preferred: one year of supervisory experience.
4. Knowledge of regulations related to services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
