Monogram Aerospace Fasteners is seeking a Qualification Cell Operator in Commerce, CA. A Qualification Cell Operator Labor Grade 8 is required to qualify all common product families as determined by the Monogram Aerospace management team. Operators must qualify at least two jobs per eight‑hour shift when assigned two jobs, maintain the required first‑pass yield, and be proficient with all measuring tools. Accurate and legible completion of qualification documentation is essential. This position requires excellent communication skills, teamwork, ingenuity, self‑motivation, work habits, and adherence to all instructions from leaders and management.
The operator must meet the minimum qualifications and be able to follow all instructions given by leaders and management.
The Qualification Cell Operator position is integral to the manufacturing process. Operators use various tools, including measuring tools, to perform daily functions. Lifting up to thirty‑five (35) pounds and working in a fast‑paced, loud environment may be required. Depending on the season, temperatures can be extreme. Proper personal protective equipment must be used at all times. Qualification documentation must be completed correctly, and the operator must read blueprints and distinguish conforming from non‑conforming parts. Integrity and adherence to all company rules and regulations are essential.
Positions are for 3rd shift 9:00 pm to 5:30 am Sunday through Thursday.
Must pass the Qualifier skills assessment test with a score determined by management. Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in lightweight fabrication and component assembly. Must set up assembly stations and operate all assembly equipment or equivalent. Must communicate in English verbally and in writing.
In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $27.07 to $33.24 /hour. Compensation can vary depending on qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for additional incentives such as equity, commissions, or other variable performance‑related bonuses.
This role involves access to technical data and/or hardware subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Employment is contingent upon verifying status as a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 or obtaining any required government authorization.
