Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a seasoned Qt Software Developer to design, develop, and optimize firmware for a consumer electronics product. You will design and implement UI software with Qt/QML and contribute to LCD/Touch/Video drivers on an onsite, 6+ month W2 contract in Massachusetts.

You will work with C/C++ for embedded firmware, apply Scrum with Jira/Confluence/Bitbucket, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features and high-quality documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience building UI software with C++ and Qt for MCU
• Experience with video playback/decoding and screen drivers
• Experience with FreeRTOS and Linux
• 5+ years in related field and BS degree required

Responsibilities

• Design, document, and implement UI software using Qt/QML
• Develop and support LCD/Touch/Video drivers
• Develop embedded firmware for consumer electronics using C/C++
• Apply Scrum methodologies for task management and sprint delivery
