Job summary

Restek is seeking a QualitySystemsEngineerIII to drive robust process controls and continuous improvement across engineering and manufacturing. The role emphasizes corrective actions, audits, change management, and deviation analysis, with strong emphasis on quality systems and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; 7+ years in lab/manufacturing experience.
• Prefer 5 years in a quality-focused role.
• Chemistry background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to design and maintain robust process controls.
• Use Corrective Action, Audits, Change Management and Deviation Analysis to drive improvements.
• Plan and execute internal quality audits with actionable reports.
• Support customer and regulatory agency audits for ongoing compliance.
• Contribute to New Product Development ensuring design robustness and process capability.
• Develop and uphold Quality Systems procedures aligned with best practices.
• Lead and facilitate Change Management processes for quality initiatives.
• Investigate customer complaints and drive root-cause corrective actions.
• Conduct root-cause analysis forums using data trends to guide improvements.

2. Utilize quality systems such as CorrectiveAction,Internal/ExternalAudits,ChangeManagement,andDeviationAnalysis to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
3. Plan, schedule, and execute internalqualityaudits,deliveringinsightfulreportsandactionablerecommendations.
4. Support and contribute to customerandregulatoryagencyaudits,ensuringcomplianceandcontinuousenhancementofqualitystandards.
5. Play a key role in NewProductDevelopment,ensuringrobustdesign,strongmanufacturingprocesscapability,andeffectivequalitycontrolmeasures.
6. Develop, refine, and uphold QualitySystemsprocedures,ensuringalignmentwithorganizationalgoalsandindustrybestpractices.
7. Lead and facilitate ChangeManagementprocesses to ensure seamless implementation of quality initiatives.
8. Investigate and resolve customercomplaints,identifyingrootcausesanddrivingeffectivecorrectiveactions.
9. Conduct root-causeanalysisforums,leveragingdatatrendsandmarketinsightstoguideimpactfulqualityimprovements.

WhatYou'llBring:

EducationandExperience:

Typicallyrequiresabachelor’sdegreeinengineeringorarelatedscientificdisciplineplusatleast7yearsoflaboratoryormanufacturingexperienceortheequivalentcombinationofeducationandexperience.Preferablywith5yearsinaqualityfocusedrole.

• Chemistrybackgroundpreferred.

Knowledge,Skills,andAbilities:

• Deep understanding of qualityprocesses,ISO9001principles,andrelatedstandards.
• Advanced proficiency in statisticalmethods, including DesignofExperiments(DOE)andStatisticalProcessControl(SPC).
• Strongrisk-baseddecision-makingskillstoresolvecomplexqualitychallengeseffectively.
• High-level customer interaction skills, with the ability to provide in-depthproductknowledge.
• Proven experience leading majorauditsandconductinghigh-impactqualityinvestigations.
• Outstanding communicationandleadershipskills, with the ability to influencestakeholdersatalllevels.
