Job summary

SRC Industrial in Springfield, MO, is seeking a QMS/Supplier Quality Specialist to support the Quality team in managing the company's QMS and supplier quality programs. You will help maintain ISO 9001 readiness, inspect supplier components, track supplier performance, and assist with corrective actions to improve quality, cost, and delivery.

The role requires a 2-year associate’s degree in a quality field and at least 5 years in manufacturing or remanufacturing.

Qualifications

• 2-year associate's degree related to Quality Control.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in a production facility, preferably manufacturing/remanufacturing.
• Familiarity with product testing methods, quality control, and lean manufacturing practices.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Quality Management System, including preparing for ISO 9001 compliance.
• Inspect supplier produced components for defects and track supplier performance.
• Support corrective action plans with suppliers as required.
• Develop and execute improvements to quality, cost, and delivery in the process flow.
• Collect data to support Quality Control metrics as required.
