Job summary

Mainstream Engineering Corporation is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead QA/quality engineering activities, supervise inspectors, and administer the QMS to ensure ISO9001 compliance. The role covers supplier quality validation, incoming and in-process inspections, final product validation, and traceability records for a wide range of military and commercial products.

Qualifications

• 5+ years quality experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality and reliability methods for aerospace/defense hardware/software.
• Experience with QT9 or similar QA software preferred.
• US citizenship due to ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and training of inspectors in proper techniques and following quality procedures.
• Building quality in the new product development process with engineering to implement APQP and inspection plans.
• Proper interpretation of GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Improvements to existing QA procedures and implementation of new QA methodologies.
