Job summary

A progressive quality management firm in San Jose, CA is seeking a working-manager responsible for overseeing ISO9001 and TL9000 compliance within the corporate Quality Management System (QMS). The role includes preparing for audits, managing teams, and ensuring effective resolution of issues. Candidates should have over 8 years in quality management and strong people management skills. A BS in relevant fields is required. This exempt position reports to the Director of QMS and requires approximately 10% travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a people manager with budget responsibilities.
• 8 years’ experience with Quality Management System and Quality Engineering.
• Experience obtaining and maintaining ISO9001 and/or TL9000 certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage ISO9001, TL9000 compliance and Quality Management System (QMS).
• Prepare for external certification or surveillance audits.
• Conduct internal audits and manage audit teams.
