Job summary

Eagle Wireless in Solon, Ohio is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to own and administer the QMS at our electronics manufacturing facility. This role ensures IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 compliance, conducts internal audits, and keeps documentation, records, and controls audit-ready.

You will drive CAPA, supervise audit programs, coordinate management reviews, and support cross-functional teams to maintain QMS health using Six Sigma, Lean, and problem-solving tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of quality systems experience in manufacturing, ideally electronics or automotive supply chain.
• Experience owning or administering a QMS certified to IATF 16949 and ISO 9001.
• Strong working knowledge of VDA 6.3 process audit methodology; internal auditor certification preferred.
• Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA (AIAG-VDA), Control Plans, MSA, SPC.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the Quality Management System documentation hierarchy.
• Administer document control system and manage revisions and approvals.
• Maintain QMS software including CAPA and audit management; ensure audit readiness.
• Coordinate IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 surveillance and recertification audits.
• Lead internal audits, process audits, and management reviews; track CAPA closure.
• Support cross-functional QMS across departments and training requirements.
