Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to join the team at Lawrence Correctional Center in Sumner, Illinois. The QMHP provides comprehensive mental health care, including intake, assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and therapy within a correctional setting.

The role requires a Master's degree in a relevant field and an active Illinois license (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT/LPC/LSW), TB documentation, CPR/AED certification, and at least two years of direct mental

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active Independent mental health professional license Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LSW required.
• Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake and assessments for patients in a correctional setting.
• Deliver crisis intervention as needed and develop treatment planning.
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Provide individual and group therapy to patients.
• Manage caseload and document care per Centurion policy and IDOC directives.
• Perform duties as assigned by leadership.

Annual Salary for LCPC, LCSW, LMFT / $91,500.00

Annual Salary for LPC, LSW / $79,000.00

The QMHP provides comprehensive mental health care to patients in a correctional setting, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, case management, and providing individual and group therapy. Performs all duties as assigned by leadership and as directed by Centurion policy and procedure, as well as IDOC Directives, and Standard Operating Procedures.
