Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Qualified Mental Health Professional to join the team at Logan Correctional Facility in Logan, IL. This full-time role focuses on delivering mental health care within a correctional setting, including intake, assessments, crisis intervention, and therapy.

The role requires a Master's degree in a related field and an active IL license (LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LSW), plus TB documentation and CPR/AED, with two years of direct care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
• Active Independent mental health professional license Illinois: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, LPC or LSW required.
• Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience with direct care for individuals with mental illness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health care to patients in a correctional setting, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and therapy.
• Consult with a multi-disciplinary team and participate in case management.
• Perform duties as assigned by leadership and Centurion policy and procedures, and IDOC Directives.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Qualified Mental Health Professional to join our team at Logan Correctional Facility, located in Logan, Illinois.

Hourly Rate of $37.98 (non-clinically licensed) and $43.99 (clinically licensed) after successful completion of six-month introductory period.

The QMHP provides comprehensive mental health care to patients in a correctional setting, including intake and assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, consulting with a multi-disciplinary team, case management, and providing individual and group therapy. Performs all duties as assigned by leadership and as directed by Centurion policy and procedure, as well as IDOC Directives, and Standard Operating Procedures.

Shift: Evenings 12-8

Qualifications:

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related field from an accredited educational institution required.
