Job summary

Coal Creek Post Acute & Assisted Living in Lafayette, LA is hiring a QMAP on a PRN basis. You will administer medications, supervise self-administration, document changes, and help residents with daily living activities. Candidates must hold QMAP certification or be a caregiver, lift residents up to 51 lbs, and communicate in English. Memory-care experience may be needed. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Requires QMAP Certification.
• Will also accept a caregiver.
• Ability to lift at least 51 lbs regularly and assist residents.
• Fluently read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Experience with memory care may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide residents with medication administration and treatment assistance according to orders.
• Supervise residents who self-administer medication following guidelines.
• Report changes in residents' condition or behavior.
• Maintain resident records regarding medication distribution and activities of daily living.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort, and other daily living activities.
• Follow the schedule of resident needs set by supervisor.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
