Qualifications

• Current Colorado QMAP certification required.
• Experience assisting residents with daily living activities.
• Ability to administer medications per regulations and physician orders.
• Knowledge of medication procedures, storage, and resident safety.
• Promptly report medication errors or changes in resident condition.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Maintain MAR/eMAR records accurately.
• Collaborate with nurses and other team members.
• Respect resident dignity, privacy, and service.
• Complete facility competency assessment before handling meds independently.
• Meet background screening, orientation, and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and assist with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Respond to resident requests and determine best assistance.
• Safely administer medications to residents per Colorado QMAP and community policies.
• Review dietary restrictions and allergies to ensure appropriate meals.
