Job summary

Stellar Senior Living in Denver’s Cherry Creek area is seeking a Caregiver/QMAP to support residents with daily living activities and medication administration under Colorado regulations. You will work as part of a compassionate team dedicated to dignity and safety.

We offer competitive hourly pay between $21 and $25, full-time benefits including medical, dental, vision, generous PTO, holidays, 401k, and opportunities for growth. Training and tuition reimbursement are available.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado QMAP qualification.
• Experience assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Ability to administer medications in accordance with Colorado regulations, community policies, and physician orders.

Responsibilities

• Provide great resident care and support with daily activities and personal hygiene.
• Respond to resident requests and determine how to best assist them.
• Safely administer medications to residents in accordance with Colorado QMAP and assisted living regulations and community policies.
• Ensure residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions, allergies and preferences.

Role Overview

Our Caregivers provide activities of daily living and other services to residents in accordance with their service plan. Responsibilities

• Provide great resident care and support with daily activities and personal hygiene
• Respond to resident requests and determine how to best assist them
• Safely administer medications to residents in accordance with Colorado QMAP and assisted living regulations and community policies.

Ensure residents receive appropriate diet by reviewing their dietary restrictions, food allergies and preferences

Required Qualifications:

• Current Colorado QMAP qualification
• Experience assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Ability to administer medications in accordance with Colorado regulations, community policies, and physician orders.
• Knowledge of medication administration procedures, documentation, medication storage, and resident safety.
• Ability to recognize and promptly report medication errors, adverse reactions, and changes in resident condition.
• Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate medication administration records (MAR/eMAR).
• Ability to work collaboratively with nurses, caregivers, and other team members.
• Commitment to resident dignity, confidentiality, and exceptional customer service.
• Successful completion of a facility-specific medication administration competency assessment before independently performing assigned medication tasks.
• Ability to meet applicable background screening, orientation, and training requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous QMAP or caregiving experience in assisted living, memory care, or senior living.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Experience using electronic medication administration records
