Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Colorado is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to ensure residents receive medications and treatments safely, accurately, and with dignity. You will administer medications per physician orders and document in MAR/TAR in real time.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Medication Administration certification, CPR and First Aid certification, strong documentation and communication skills, and preferably senior care experience.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications as ordered for symptom relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean, organized medication carts and rooms.
• Follow infection control and safety standards.
