Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Medication Aide/Med Tech to administer medications and treatments safely and accurately for our residents. You will document in MAR/TAR in real time, observe residents during and after passes, and report concerns promptly.

Maintain clean medication areas and follow infection control standards. Previous senior care experience is preferred and CPR/First Aid certs are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required; age 18+.
• Medication Administration certification.
• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Senior care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders.
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration.
• Document in MAR/TAR accurately and in real time.
• Observe residents during and after medication passes.
• Monitor symptoms and administer meds as ordered for relief.
• Report refusals or concerns promptly.
• Complete narcotic counts per policy.
• Maintain clean medication carts and rooms.
