Traditions of Beavercreek is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to safely prepare and administer prescribed medications to residents, document each administration, and support nursing staff in a skilled care environment. The role requires successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration, a current QMA certification, and annual medication evaluations.

• Must complete annual medication evaluation with Registered Pharmacy Consultant.
• Current QMA certificate for the state.
• Successful completion of a state-approved training program in medication administration.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare and administer prescribed medications to residents and document each administration.
• Administer PRN drugs when authorized by a licensed nurse.
• Check physician orders against medication forms.
• Maintain drug storage and cart security, and keep a clean working environment.
• Record vital signs and chart resident conditions timely.
• Answer call lights, bed/chair sensors, alarms promptly.
• Order medications from pharmacy per physician orders.
• Ensure HIPAA privacy compliance in all records and procedures.
