Job summary

Qualitycorrectional is looking for a Quality Medical Technician (QMT) to provide essential healthcare services at Noble County Jail. Responsibilities include medication administration, vital signs monitoring, assisting in medical emergencies, and maintaining accurate patient records.

The ideal candidate will have an active CPR certification and at least 6 months of medical field experience. QCC offers a supportive work culture and competitive compensation.

The position offers shifts from 6PM-10PM every other week, paying between $20-25+ per hour based on experience.

Qualifications

• Active CPR certification is required.
• 6+ months of experience in the medical field is needed.
• EMT, QMA, or CMA certification is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and obtain vital signs.
• Assist in sick calls using medical protocols.
• Communicate with the facility or on-call medical provider.
• Respond to medical emergencies and perform life-saving measures.
• Collect laboratory specimens as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient charts.

Quality Medical Technician (QMT) Responsibilities

• Medication administration
• Obtaining vital signs
• Assisting in sick call using medical protocols

• Be capable of performing life saving measures and ability to take charge and give direction in an emergency.
• Collect laboratory specimens, as needed
• Follow the “Rules of 100” and provide patient care as specified
• Maintain accurateand up-to-dateinformation in patient charts

Requirements

• Active CPR certification

• Must be able to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
• Must be capable oflifting upto 50 pounds
