Job summary

Vita of Greenfield is seeking a dedicated Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will show a passion for resident care and strive to provide high-quality services within Greenfield, IN.

Responsibilities include administering prescribed medications, providing direct resident care under licensed supervision, assisting with ADLs, and maintaining accurate vital signs records.

Qualifications

• Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) in the state you are applying
• Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
• Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, or caregiving preferred but not required
• Ability to provide compassionate care
• Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain through the company

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Provide direct resident care under supervision of licensed nursing staff
• Assist residents with ADL and personal care (bathing, grooming, meal assistance)
• Monitor, record, and report vital signs
• Support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care units
• Utilize electronic medical records efficiently
• Communicate with residents, families, and staff
• Maintain a clean and safe working and living environment
