St. Paul's Assisted Living in Indiana is seeking a compassionate QMA to join our healthcare team. The QMA will administer medications, monitor residents, assist with ADLs, and maintain accurate care documentation in a safe, respectful environment.

This role requires Indiana QMA certification, strong attention to detail and teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends or holidays as needed. We offer paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, and benefits within Trinity Health network.

Qualifications

• QMA certification Indiana is required.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.

Description: St. Paul's Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and skilled QMA to join our dedicated healthcare team. The QMA will play a critical role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their well-being and maintaining a safe and comfortable living environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers in compliance with state regulations.


• Monitor residents for changes in health, reporting observations to nursing staff or healthcare providers.


• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.


• Maintain accurate documentation of medication administration, treatments, and resident care activities.


• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety procedures to maintain a clean and healthy environment.


• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members to ensure coordinated care.


• Support the nursing staff in responding to emergencies and providing prompt care to residents.


• Foster a warm, respectful, and supportive atmosphere for residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Current certification as a QMA in the state of Indiana (required).


• Experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting is preferred.


• Knowledge of medication administration practices, resident care standards, and state regulations.


• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.


• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic demeanor with a genuine desire to serve the senior community.
