Job summary

Hellenic Senior Living – New Albany is seeking a Qualified Medication Assistant (QMA) to provide resident care and support in our assisted living setting. You will assist with personal care, respond to calls, document activities, and adapt to changes in duties while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will be at least 18, be QMA-certified, and demonstrate strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Must be certified as a QMA.
• Able to remain stationary 50-100% of shift.
• Able to exert 10-30 lbs. of force or move objects.

Responsibilities

• Perform resident care activities and related non‑professional services necessary in caring for personal needs, hygiene, care and comfort.
• Respond to emergency call alerts in accordance with facility policies.
• Document daily as to resident assistance activities.
• Be flexible in accepting changes in duty and assignment.
• Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to facility safety program at all times.
