Adams Woodcrest Assisted Living in Decatur, IN is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide (QMA) to administer non-parenteral medications under physician plans and supervision of a nurse. The role is 11 hours weekly on the second shift (3:00 PM – 9:00 PM) with Indiana QMA licensure and BLS/CPR certification required.

Description

Qualified Medication Aides (QMA) in the state of Indiana are permitted to administer non-parenteral medications in long-term care facilities in accordance with a physician ’ s plan of treatment and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse. QMAs are not allowed to do invasive procedures and assessing. The QMA is expected to follow the instructions issued by the physician or licensed nurse according to established policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Valid QMA in State of Indiana
