Job summary

STARC of Louisiana, Inc. seeks a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional to manage a caseload, coordinate service plans, and ensure program adherence. You may transport clients and participate in planning meetings with families and guardians.

Responsibilities include reviewing records, supporting waiver services, supervising staff, attending meetings, and updating annual service plans. A Bachelor’s degree in human services and CPR/First Aid are required; a valid driver’s license is also

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and developmental disABILITIES.
• Current CPR & First Aid certification.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and respond to stressful situations with control.

Responsibilities

• Assigned a specific caseload of clients and ensure integration of their program components.
• Coordinate, supervise, and monitor implementation of each client’s individual service plans.
• Recommend modifications to service plans based on client progress.
• May transport clients and serve as backup to staff in emergencies.
