Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years as Offshore Medic in high-risk industries.
  • HSE Offshore Medic certification or equivalent.
  • Licensed medical practitioner status required.
  • Willingness to travel offshore and internationally for rotations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide emergency medical care and document all cases offshore.
  • Operate offshore medical facilities and maintain supplies.
  • Document medical reports, compile statistics, and analyze trends.
  • Oversee health surveillance and fitness-to-work programs.
  • Plan and conduct emergency drills and training.
  • Contribute medical input in safety meetings and toolbox talks.
  • Support investigations from a medical perspective and implement actions.
  • Perform onboard medical inspections and ensure reporting compliance.

Job description

Rotation: 5x5 or 4x4 on/off (12-hour shifts)

Duration: ASAP - November 2026

We are currently seeking an experienced HSE / Medic to support offshore operations on a major Offshore Wind Project in the United States. This role combines QHSE oversight with frontline medical support, ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and compliance of offshore personnel

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide medical care to offshore personnel, including emergency response, occupational health treatments, and accurate documentation of all cases
  • Maintain and operate the offshore medical facilities, ensuring readiness, functionality, and availability of sufficient medical supplies and equipment
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of medical reports, compile statistics, and provide analysis and reports as required
  • Oversee occupational health and hygiene programs, including health surveillance, fitness-to-work monitoring, and workplace environment assessments
  • Assist in planning and conducting emergency drills and training exercises, evaluate medical preparedness, and recommend improvement
  • Actively participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks, providing medical and health-related input where relevant
  • Support incident investigations from a medical perspective, ensuring findings and corrective actions are documented and followed up
  • Carry out medical inspections onboard, ensuring compliance with health standards, proper reporting, and effective follow-up
Technical profile requirements
  • 5 years' experience as Offshore Medic in high-risk industries
  • Good knowledge & experience with MS Office
  • Experience with Offshore Wind operations is a plus
  • Willingness to travel abroad on 4:4 or 5:5 rotation
  • Fit for Offshore work
