Job summary

Enpro Industries, Inc. seeks a QHSE Co-op for a 1-year program in Houston, TX. This hands-on role supports integrating quality and safety across a metal gasket and rubber molded parts facility, with exposure to AS9100, ISO 45001, and OSHA compliance.

You will work with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Leadership to develop practical shop-floor procedures and audit-ready deliverables, under supervision by Plant Manager and EHS leadership.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a degree in Safety, Engineering, EHS, or related field (final year or graduate).
• Strong interest in manufacturing safety, quality systems, and operational excellence.
• Ability to write clear procedures and organize technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• OSHA & Safety Program Development: assist in developing and updating OSHA safety programs and procedures.
• ISO 45001 Support: help build out documentation and controls.
• Integration with Quality (AS9100 & AS13100 Alignment): align safety events with corrective actions and root-cause analysis.
• Training & Employee Engagement: assist with onboarding materials, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Audits, Metrics & Reporting: track safety metrics and assist management reviews.
