We offer a variety of fresh, healthy, ready-to-eat meals and snacks through our fresh food vending machines, wholesale partners, and our office pantry solution — providing chef-curated meals to customers within seconds. Today, we operate a network of Fridges and partner with clients nationwide in high-foot-traffic areas, such as airports, hospitals, universities, and large office buildings — where there is limited accessibility to fresh, healthy, grab-n-go options.

About this Role:

The QFS Systems Coordinator plays an important role in helping Farmer’s Fridge turn food safety and quality data into actionable insights. Our Quality & Food Safety programs generate information across environmental monitoring, production checks, internal audits, training, customer feedback, and other programs. This role makes sure that information is accurate, organized, accessible, and reaching the people who can act on it.

You’ll own the day-to-day administration and reporting within our Quality Management System, help identify trends and gaps before they become larger issues, and maintain the documentation that keeps our food safety programs organized and audit-ready. You’ll work closely with our Quality & Food Safety team as well as partners across Operations, Distribution, and R&D, combining strong attention to detail with an ability to make data understandable and useful.

What You’ll Do…

• Build and maintain recurring reports across key food safety and quality programs, including environmental monitoring, production compliance, internal audits, training, customer complaints, and quality holds.
• Review and analyze quality and food safety data to identify trends, recurring issues, and emerging risks, and communicate findings to the appropriate teams.
• Serve as the day-to-day administrator of our Quality Management System, SafetyChain, including forms, workflows, user access, and reporting.
• Partner with Quality & Food Safety leaders and plant teams to ensure production-floor checks are configured correctly, completed on time, and generating reliable data.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies in data collection and recommend improvements to how information is captured, maintained, and reported.
• Maintain organized, accurate documentation for food safety and quality programs, including SOPs, HACCP plans, specifications, training records, and other program documentation.
• Coordinate corrective action and non-conformance tracking, including routing items to the appropriate owners, monitoring deadlines, and following up on outstanding actions.
• Help keep the organization audit-ready by organizing and maintaining documentation for SQF, USDA, third-party, and customer audits.
• Maintain supplier and ingredient documentation, including certificates, approvals, and expiration tracking.
• Support mock recalls, traceability exercises, internal audits, and new product launch readiness.
• Provide data, records, and reporting support to cross-functional partners across Operations, Distribution, and R&D.

Who You Are…

• You have 1–3 years of experience in food manufacturing, quality, food safety, logistics, or another role involving significant data, records, or systems ownership.
• You’re comfortable working with data and spreadsheets, including pivot tables, lookups, and building reports that other people can easily understand and use.
• You have a working understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and basic food safety principles. Familiarity with HACCP is a plus.
• You’re comfortable learning and working within technology systems. Experience with a Quality Management System or data collection platform such as SafetyChain, Redzone, TraceGains, or a similar tool is preferred, but not required.
• You’re highly organized and naturally detail-oriented. You notice when information is missing, inconsistent, or simply doesn’t look right.
• You can look beyond maintaining records and identify the patterns or trends the data may be telling you.
• You communicate clearly and can explain a data or process issue to someone who may not spend their day working in spreadsheets.
• You’re comfortable working cross-functionally and following up with others to keep documentation, corrective actions, and other important work moving forward.
• You’re comfortable spending time on the production floor and working in a refrigerated environment (approximately 40°F) for short periods.
• You can read, speak, and write in English; bilingual Spanish skills are a plus.
• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred, but equivalent professional experience is welcome.

The base salary range for this role is $55,000 - $62,000. The base pay offered will be determined by factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for company performance-based bonuses and equity.
