Job summary

OneStream Software is seeking a QE Manager to lead a team of Quality Engineers and SDETs, directing quality strategy across the organization. You will mentor engineers, drive risk-based exploratory testing and automation initiatives, and partner with product and engineering to align quality with delivery goals.

You will champion AI-assisted quality practices, oversee workflow governance, and communicate risk and coverage through actionable metrics, shaping product decisions and ensuring

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in software quality and leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of modern QE practices incl. exploratory testing, automation, observability.
• Ability to coach and mentor engineers across teams and levels.
• Experience driving cross-team alignment on quality strategy and practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach QEs and SDETs across multiple product teams.
• Enable risk-based exploratory testing through chartering and test design.
• Drive automation maturity and ownership of checks and suites.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to align quality with delivery goals.
• Partner with automation and framework teams to ensure scalable coverage.
• Establish governance, environment lifecycle support, and incident response processes.
• Translate quality metrics into actionable insights for leadership.
• Mentor team members in technical and strategic quality skills.
• Foster a culture of responsible testing and collaboration across engineering.
• Champion AI-assisted quality practices to improve test design and coverage.
