Papa Johns is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Kentucky to ensure upkeep and repair of all production and facility equipment. You’ll perform maintenance on robotics and assist with installations, ensuring operational efficiency.

This role is for the third shift with pay up to $36/hr based on experience. Additional benefits include a fully funded online college program and comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ work experience in automation and repairs.
• Ability to read instructions in English required.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints preferred.

Job Description

The Industrial Maintenance Technician provides upkeep and repair for all production and facility equipment within the Center to ensure or improve production efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on robotics, motion control, Allen Bradley MicroLogix, CompactLogix, and ControlLogix
• Troubleshooting using PLC interface for diagnostics
• Assist with installation of new equipment
• Conduct basic electrical and mechanical repairs as assigned
• Assist with facility improvement and basic repairs including floors, walls, and ceilings
• Assist management with scheduling maintenance projects
• Support outside contractors with repairs/maintenance as needed
• Maintain accurate and complete departmental records

Shift and Pay

Third shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 8 hours. Option for a 4‑day work week of 10‑hour shifts from Wednesday to Saturday. Pay up to $36/hr, based on experience, with skill‑based pay evaluation every 6 months increasing the base pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years’ work experience, including but not limited to automation, calibrated tools, electrical and mechanical repairs, and laptop to PLC interfaces
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulics, PLC logic, plumbing, general contracting, welding, HVAC/refrigeration, etc. preferred
• Ability to read and/or understand written and/or verbal policy, instruction and direction in English required
• Skilled Windows‑based computer systems preferred
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical blueprints preferred
• Must be able to safely operate a forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks
