The Quality Control Technician under the supervision of the Quality Superintendent, is responsible for implementing and monitoring quality standards, improving systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with internal and external regulations.

Essential Functions

• Comply with safety policies and procedures
• Utilize systems methodology for business activities
• Follow established standards for troubleshooting, testing, calibration, and project management
• Report all product exceptions according to non-conforming materials procedures
• Inspect WIP and Finished Goods during shifts
• Conduct monthly audits for accuracy
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and flexibility in scheduling

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to read and interpret drawings, instructions, safety rules, manuals, and procedures
• Manual dexterity and mechanical skills
• Good communication skills; proficiency in English; bilingual Spanish is a plus
• Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and observe equipment malfunctions
• Quick learner with minimal supervision
• Math and computer skills

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent plus relevant training or certification
• 1-2 years of relevant experience

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

• Ability to tolerate noise, temperature extremes, and environmental conditions
• Prolonged standing, repetitive movements, bending, twisting
• Lift/move items up to 50 pounds
• Work around dust, chemicals, and in various conditions
• Wear personal protective equipment
