Job summary

Northrop Grumman in East Hartford, CT is seeking a Quality Control Technician – Level 2 or Level 3 to join our team onsite. This role focuses on verification of requirements for operations, products, and documents, with GD&T knowledge and strong attention to detail.

You will review testing methods, compile data, assess product compliance, and support supplier and internal audits, while traveling occasionally to Devens or supplier sites.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years related experience (Level 2).
• High School diploma or equivalent and 4 years related experience (Level 3).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance.
• US Citizenship is a requirement for employment.

Responsibilities

• Verify optical, ceramic, and mechanical components and sub-systems; verify electrical assemblies and wiring harnesses.
• Review and verify optical and electrical testing methods and results; witness and verify product performance testing.
• Compile data and evaluate safety-critical components and constructions to mitigate risks.
• Design and implement Quality plans for use in verifying incoming product Quality.
• Perform product safety and EMI testing on systems and sub-assemblies.
