Job summary

ITW Food Equipment Group in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to join our production team. You will test and inspect products at various stages and help compile data to ensure quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of combined production and quality control experience in manufacturing, excels with precision tools (calipers, micrometers) and can read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of combined production & quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with Traulsen equipment and product lines.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers etc.) required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work cooperatively and congenially with co-workers to achieve cohesive and productive work processes required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management systems required, Dynamics 365 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control audit plans.
• Evaluate production stages, testing functionality and appearance of the finished product.
• Train employees in quality procedures and standards.
• Document defects and follow up on corrective actions implemented.
• Perform equipment calibration, audits.
• Assist in development of Audit plans and schedules.
• Inspect chosen units or components in accordance with check list & engineering drawings.
• Maintain and document records and results in Quality System.
• Perform tests as needed in the Quality or Engineering Lab.
