Job summary

Illinois Tool Works Inc. in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Quality Inspector to test and inspect products at various production stages and to compile statistical data ensuring quality and reliability of our Traulsen equipment lines.

The role requires at least 5 years in manufacturing QC, ability to read engineering drawings, and proficiency with MS Office and CRM systems (Dynamics 365 preferred). Union-friendly environment with daily QA tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of combined production & quality control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to use precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Dynamics 365 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control audit plans.
• Evaluate production stages and test functionality and appearance of finished products.
• Train employees in quality procedures and standards.
• Document defects and follow up on corrective actions.
• Perform equipment calibration and audits.
• Assist in development of audit plans and schedules.
• Inspect units or components per checklists and drawings.
• Maintain records in the Quality System.
• Run tests in Quality or Engineering Lab as needed.
