Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a QC Technician to safeguard product quality daily. You will inspect during pre-pour and post-pour stages, represent customer interests in the factory, and collaborate with the plant team to ensure material meets customer expectations.

The role requires high school education, QC experience, and the ability to obtain required certifications within a year. Strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience performing QC inspections in construction or manufacturing.
• ACI Certification preferred or able to pass Concrete Field Testing within 3 months.
• Must be able to obtain required certifications within 1 year.
• Proficient with basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform Pre-Pour inspections on product prior to pouring (reinforcing, insert and hole locations, etc).
• Perform Post-Pour inspections on product ensuring it is ready for the customer.
• Represent the customer inside our factory.
• Test Concrete and raw materials as needed.
• Lead QC meetings and follow up on Corrective Actions.
• Organize all documentation.
• Coordinate with production on schedule changes and errors.
• Assist in conducting QA Audits.
• Train plant employees on concrete technology and QC requirements.
