TRCC in Dalton, GA is seeking a 2nd shift QC Lab Technician to perform chemical testing and ensure quality control for manufactured products. The role requires accurate test methods, data logging, and reporting results to production staff.

You will operate instruments (FTIR, XRF, GC, HPLC, GPC) and perform standard tests such as titrations, pH, conductivity, moisture, density, and viscosity, while adhering to safety procedures and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associates Degree in a related field is preferred.
• Experience with SAP preferred.
• Must be able to stand at a lab bench for long periods.
• Must be able to pass fitness for duty, drug screen and TB test.

Responsibilities

• Perform chemical tests including acid-base titrations, moisture, pH, conductivity, density and viscosity.
• Conduct instrumental testing (FTIR, XRF, GC, HPLC, GPC).
• Log samples and report test results to production staff.
• Maintain safety and PPE compliance in the lab.
• Organize lab stations and manage sample retention areas.
• Test methods must be executed with accuracy and precision.
