Job summary

Staker Parson Companies, a CRH company, is seeking a skilled tester to safely collect samples, set up density gauges, and perform precise testing of soils, aggregates, and asphalt materials in Utah. The role requires knowledge of DOT specifications and accurate reporting of results.

Driving company vehicles is required. Applicants should have a GED or higher and 1–2 years of QC experience; WAQTC certification is preferred, with a valid driver's license mandatory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years QC experience preferred.
• WAQTC certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently collect samples for testing asphalt materials.
• Set up, operate and maintain nuclear density gauges for asphalt and soils compaction.
• Know state DOT and governing agency job specifications.
• Perform sampling, testing and reporting procedures accurately and promptly.
