Job summary

H.B. Fuller in Chagrin Falls, OH seeks a Quality Control Technician for 2nd shift (2:30pm–11pm) with occasional overtime. Pay is $22.00–$26.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential.

Responsibilities include testing finished goods and in-process samples to ensure quality and directing adjustments to keep materials within spec. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and about 1 year of lab experience or chemistry coursework, with basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of lab experience or chemistry lab education.
• Must be able to perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing of finished goods and in-process samples to ensure quality specifications.
• Determine how to correct out-of-spec materials and direct production to make adjustments.
• Ensure safe and appropriate practices in lab.
• Testing requirements include viscosities, densities, gel times, etc.
• Prepares & tests samples for advanced testing (peel and shear strength).
• Maintains daily quality log and history files.
