Job summary

H.B. Fuller Company in Chagrin Falls, OH is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the 2nd shift (2:30pm-11pm, Mon-Fri). The role tests finished goods and in-process samples to meet quality specs, and directs production to correct out-of-spec materials.

Pay ranges from $22.00 to $26.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential. Responsibilities include testing viscosities, densities, gel times, preparing samples for advanced testing, maintaining quality logs, and supporting R&D and customer

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of lab experience or education in chemistry lab.
• Must be able to do basic math.

Responsibilities

• Performs testing of finished goods and in-process samples to ensure they meet quality specifications.
• Determine how to correct out-of-spec materials and direct production to make adjustments.
• Ensure safe and proper practices in the lab and maintain daily quality logs.
• Prepare and test samples for advanced testing (e.g., peel and shear strength).
• Maintain sample retain room and equipment calibration records.
• Support production for process testing and assist R&D as needed.
