Job summary

Litehouse Foods is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician in Hurricane, Utah. The role focuses on food safety and product excellence, with a 6am-6pm shift and starting pay of $18.77 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficient in basic math, data entry, and computer usage.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing on ingredients, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Conduct sensory evaluations on every batch to ensure taste, texture, and appearance meet quality standards.
• Monitor critical control points (CCPs) for food safety compliance.
• Verify labeling accuracy for microbiological samples and finished goods.
• Use lab equipment proficiently and maintain accurate data entry via software or written methods.
• Notify relevant personnel about out-of-spec results or paperwork discrepancies.
• Inspect equipment for cleanliness post-wash when necessary.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant working environment.
