Job summary

Litehouse Foods is hiring for a Machine Technician I in Hurricane, UT. The role operates and troubleshoots production machines, performs setup and changeovers, and upholds strict food-safety standards to deliver quality products.

The position supports a 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am shift pattern with default pay around $18.77/hr plus differential. We offer strong benefits and career growth in a 100% employee-owned organization that values teamwork and community involvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Mechanically inclined is a plus.
• Experience operating one production machine is valued.

Responsibilities

• Operate and lead key machinery to ensure efficient, quality output.
• Set up, operate and adjust machinery for production runs.
• Perform changeovers and washes to meet spec requirements.
• Maintain a clean work area and adhere to housekeeping standards.
• Follow Food Safety policies and report any safety or quality concerns to your supervisor.
• Ensure products meet customer and quality requirements.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.

The Machine Technician I operates a minimum of one production machine in an area or department and performs basic preventative machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

What You'll Do

• Operate and lead key machinery, striving for efficient output of quality products.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma/GED Strongly Preferred.
• Mechanically inclined preferred.
• Fully trained and experienced in the operation of one production machine as defined at each plant and/or equivalent work experience.
• Must have strong verbal and written communications skills with ability to express ideas professionally, effectively and efficiently in the common language.
• Ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with all contacts inside and outside of the company with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task, focus and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to frequently work overtime and weekends as necessary.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements.
