Job summary

Fior Di Sole LLC in California is seeking a Quality Control Technician I to oversee bottling-line quality checks and inspect packaging materials under the guidance of the Quality Manager and Supervisor. You will ensure packaging materials, wine types, and quality specs align with the production schedule and standards, working independently with flexible weekend hours.

The role reports to the QC Manager and is full-time, non-exempt, with a compensation range of $22–$24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and Microsoft NAV is a plus.
• Solid winery experience (QC/Production) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow quality assurance plans and perform hazard analyses.
• Conduct quality checks on dry goods and packaging materials.
• Audit bottling lines and drive improvements through audits.
• Validate product specifications and quality attributes; measure production levels.
• Prepare reports, summaries, and maintain records.
• Collaborate with QC and production teams to improve methods.
• Analyze finished goods, equipment, and work orders.
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate resolutions.
• Create production work orders and inspect dry goods.

Job Summary:The Quality Control Technician I will oversee quality control on bottling lines and inspect packaging materials under the guidance of the Quality Manager and Supervisor. This role ensures all packaging materials, wine types, and quality specifications align with the production schedule and relevant industry and government standards.
