At ISO certified facilities initiate and document nonconformance incidents per the QS-017 Control of Nonconformance protocol.
  • Process Monitoring: Ensure critical treatment steps are being performed including moisture content verification, and sterilization. Ensure adherence to documented procedures in the QC Manual and ISO procedures as applicable.

  • Quality Assurance: Maintain and enforce the Corporate Quality Policies and Procedures; oversee quality reports and databases.
  • Process Oversight: QC preservative concentrations, incising, shaving, framing, and other manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Inspection & Certification: Conduct boring, inspection, and chemical analysis of treated charges; issue treating certificates and reports.
  • Calibration: Ensure lab and inspection equipment is appropriately calibrated at recommended compliance intervals.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, analyses, specifications, and correspondence.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with treating supervisors to optimize cycles and solution strengths.
  • Corrective Actions: Initiates corrective actions as necessary, supports root cause analysis, implements actions, and completes effectiveness checks as assigned.
  • Reporting: Complete daily, weekly, and monthly compliance reports for plant leadership.
  • Third-Party Coordination: Manage external quality control inspections.
