Actalent is seeking a Quality Control Technician for Northbrook, IL,Contract to Hire, with a mid-shift schedule (10:00 AM–6:30 PM) and onsite work. You will analyze raw materials and production materials, solve non-conformance issues, and run product tests in a collaborative lab environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Quality Control experience within flavors, fragrances, food, or similar industries.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Proficiency in running GC and maintaining lab equipment.
• Strong understanding of chemistry, including the mixing of chemicals.
• Excellent organizational skills.

This role requires more than routine testing, as you will be solving quality non-conformance issues and running product tests. You must be tech-savvy, possess strong research skills, and be capable of critical thinking.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
