Sonic Connectors LTD, a Superior Energy Services Company, seeks a hands-on Quality Control Supervisor to oversee inspectors and ensure API Q1 standards on oilfield projects in Midland, TX. You will coordinate QC activities, verify specifications, and report findings to management and customers.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of oil and gas inspection experience, familiarity with electrical feedthrough or wellhead equipment, and strong communication skills to drive quality across teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years of inspection experience in oil and gas.
• Experience with electrical feedthrough and/or wellhead is preferred.
• Knowledge of API Q1 requirements and inspection processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate and direct quality control staff duties in their area.
• Ensure current specifications and customer requirements are applied.
• Read, interpret and communicate requirements to personnel.
• Train, direct and supervise inspection staff on related duties.
• Oversee preparation activities and verify coating and equipment compliance.
• Record inspection results and manage nonconforming conditions.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure calibration of equipment.
• Report job status and quality issues to management and customers.
• Adhere to API Q1 – QMS and HSE requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
