Job summary

Sonic Connectors LTD, a Superior Energy Services Company, seeks a qualified Quality Control Supervisor to oversee inspection staff on oilfield projects and ensure API Q1 standards are met. You will lead QC efforts, coordinate inspections and maintain high-quality results across multiple crews.

You will lead 15-20 indirect reports, ensure procedures and drawings are current, train staff, and report results to management and customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of inspection experience in oil and gas applications.
• Experience with electrical feed-through and/or wellhead preferred.
• Knowledge of API Q1 inspection requirements and quality control processes.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct QC staff duties for the area.
• Ensure latest specifications, procedures and customer requirements are referenced.
• Read and interpret specs, then communicate requirements to staff.
• Train and oversee personnel on inspection duties.
• Inspect equipment and verify compliance with procedures.
• Oversee reporting and maintain inspection records.
• Ensure inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated.
• Communicate job status and inspection results to management and customers.
• Ensure compliance with API Q1, QMS and HSE requirements.
• Supervise 15-20 indirect reports.
