Singular Genomics seeks a QC Specialist I to join the Quality Control team in San Diego, CA. You will perform routine testing of in-process and final materials, document results, and follow SOPs to support product development and manufacturing.

The role requires a BS in a scientific field and 1–2 years of lab experience, strong pipetting skills, and familiarity with 96-well assays. The base salary ranges $20.00–$24.47 per hour, with equity potential.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in a scientific field.
• 1–2 years laboratory experience.
• Pipetting skills including volumes <5 µL.
• Experience setting up 96-well assays.
• Reliable, self-motivated with task prioritization.
• Experience with QMS in regulated environments.
• Attention to detail and documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine testing of in-process and final product materials.
• Maintain accurate documentation including batch records and SOPs.
• Independently conduct QC testing to support product releases.
• Prepare reagents, buffers, and materials for workflows.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab instruments.
• Execute repetitive tasks with precision and reliability.
• Manage work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Maintain a safe, clean lab in line with policies.
